MONTHLY FLY-IN RETURNS

Monthly fly-ins at Everglades Airpark

Chuck Gretske of Wings Airtours recently arrived from Alaska and will host the first fly-in pancake breakfast on Saturday, December 1st.  Everyone is invited whether you fly in or arrive by land or sea to view the airplanes, chat with other aviation enthusiasts, and meet new friends, you will want to keep an eye on our schedule for this ever popular monthly event.
Meanwhile, check out the AOPA website for some great aerial video in and around the Everglades and operations out of X01 by the AirCam contingent.  (Scroll down to November 22nd).

AOPA LIVE THIS WEEK: LOW AND SLOW OVER THE EVERGLADES
Join up in low-and-slow formation over the Everglades at an AirCam fly-in, and get an unmatched view of the "river of grass" from above.

EVERGLADES OUTPOST  WORLD CLASS
Everglades airport may not be officially designated as an international facility, but we still manage to attract pilots and flying enthusiasts from around the world.  We have hosted student pilots from Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany, and numerous other European and Latin American countries.  This postcard was sent to us from a visitor who belongs to a German sailplane club.

We expect that we will be having more international visitors this season as the 'Bank of The Everglades' Bed and Breakfast Inn and many other Everglades City lodging facilities have been hosting a number of visitors from other countries who come to tour the fabulous wild Everglades and take back home photos and memories that can not be obtained anywhere else in the world.
